Rebel of Craft Brewing
Stone Brewing founder Greg Koch is a contrarian. He declared war on fizzy yellow beer, defied the industry by making some of the hoppiest brews on Earth, and made a name for himself without using advertising. In 20 years he’s changed the landscape of the entire brewing industry, leading the charge from San Diego, California, also known as Beer Mecca. If there’s one thing that is true about Greg, it’s that he doesn't give a fizzy yellow beer what you think.
Dad’s Rule
At 16, California snowboarder Chloe Kim is the youngest gold medalist and first woman to ever score a perfect 100 at the X-Games.
Her secret weapon for greatness is simple: her Dad.
Conducting the interview was a beautiful moment I’m so glad I got to experience. It was incredibly touching to hear her father's story and I only wish we could have included more of it. The more I heard Chloe and her father talk about their relationship, the more I saw my dad in front of me.
We released this piece in time to celebrate Father's Day.
